I quickly realised that it is very different and can be quite confusing, especially without any knowledge or experience.Before finding Richard Lawson, I had some disappointing experiences with other shops. Some merchants were not very professional or transparent. One told me the piano I wanted was discontinued and tried to push me towards a more expensive model they had in stock. Another said they had the piano available but delivery to my address would take 10 to 12 days, which did not seem right.In contrast, my experience with Richard Lawson Pianos was excellent. From the beginning, they were honest, transparent, and very helpful. The customer service was fantastic, and the delivery was fast and smooth.The showroom is also impressive. You can take your time, explore different instruments, and receive proper advice without any pressure. The staff are knowledgeable and patient, which made a big difference for me as a beginner. They also offer help with finance options, which is very useful.If you are thinking about starting your piano journey and are unsure where to buy from, I would definitely recommend Richard Lawson Pianos. With new, reconditioned, and digital pianos, you can do a side by side compare, and really get a feel for what feels right.Richard and Colin were both great in fielding questions, but also allowing me two hours while there to run around the store playing everything that I needed to have comfort with the decision.From that point, the delivery was perfect, and I can’t recommend them enough. I am now the owner of a really good quality reconditioned Yamaha U3H!
