Choosing the right piano can be difficult for any music-lover. Today we give you the low down on the evolution of the Concept Artist CA78 Digital Piano. Superseding previous models, this piano gives an insight into the future of sound, combining forces with premium audio equipment manufacturers, Onkyo, to bring you a stunning clarity of sound. There are many benefits to buying this digital piano, so read on to find out just some of them.
The Real Deal
When you press your fingers into these piano keys, you’ll be astounded at the sound you produce, thinking it is coming from an acoustic piano. The sound of this state-of-the-art digital piano is manufactured by recording the Shigeru Kawai SK-EX full concert grand piano at various touch points across the soundboard. The technicality of its mathematical algorithms translates as an increase in its tonal characteristics, offering dynamic control as your piano playing is registered by the subtlest touch. For most, music is something that hits straight to the heart, and this piano model truly allows you that emotional expression to carry through your fingertips to the listener’s ear. There is a natural sound that is applied progressively across this piano’s 88 keys, through the string and damper resonance, to key-off noise.
A Strong Sound
Not only is the sound of the CA78 Digital Piano authentic, but it is unrivalled in terms of the clarity and quality of its sound. In collaboration with Onkyo, the use of Discrete SpectraModule technology enables a reproduction of an acoustic piano sound when listening through headphones, specifically due to the fast response to changes in dynamics. The use of 1-Bit DSD processing also enhances the depth and tonal quality, eradicating any distortion or digital noise. Your piano playing will be heard loud and clear through the harmonious combination of sound engineering by Kawai and Onkyo.
Making the Right Connections
With an acoustic piano, it’s more difficult to record music with the clarity of original play. When you play on a digital piano like this CA78 model, you have the benefit of using its Bluetooth Audio and MIDI technology to play and record songs wirelessly. You can also connect to various apps on different Smart Devices, including capabilities with iOS8, Android Marshmallow, and OS X Yosemite. Not only that, but this technology also enables you to stream any audio file, allowing you to accompany your favourite songs on the piano when practising, as well as an ability to watch videos of lessons online as you play.
