Once you’ve bought your piano, the issue arises of how to transport and install your new piano into your home. This can be a cumbersome task for several reasons. Not only are pianos delicate instruments, but they are also bulky and therefore awkward to carry easily. On top of that, they are an expensive item to invest in, so if there’s any damage, it will cost a lot to fix it. That’s not what you want with a new piano. Additionally, they are heavy objects, and you could risk injury by attempting to handle your piano in this way yourself.
Professional Piano Movers
For the reasons outlined, it is important to hire a professional piano moving service. At Richard Lawson Pianos, we provide this service to our customers within London and surrounding areas across the UK. Whether you’ve just bought a new piano, or you’re moving house and need to relocate your existing you, we have the experience and knowledge to adjust you properly with the transportation.
The Tools of the Trade
Another benefit of using our professional piano moving service is that we have the appropriate tools that other removals services may not be able to offer, including dollies. Allowing the piano to slide on a platform with wheels, these enable us to transfer the piano from one place to another, lifting a piano of any size with necessary tools of the trade such as skids. By implementing these tools, we reduce the risk of the piano falling or damaging any part of it. We take every step necessary to protect it, wrapping it in blankets and padding material to keep everything intact.
Our Knowledge and Experience
Our extensive knowledge and experience with pianos means we can make sure to protect the most sensitive parts. Whilst it may be an additional cost to a general moving service, our expertise will be well worth it, and we always make sure to offer our clients the most affordable rate possible without sacrificing the quality of our service.
Find The Right Way
From start to finish, we make sure to plan the best way to get your piano to its destination. When it comes to Petrof, Yamaha and Kawai Grand pianos, their size can be difficult to get through doors. We make sure to assess your home to ensure we can enter in a way that guarantees the protection of your piano. We do this by measuring hallways, stairways, doorways, and any other areas necessary to determine the safe arrival of your piano to your home.
