Kawai grand piano supplier is one of the most reputable piano suppliers in the UK, supplying and producing exquisite instruments suitable for playing music both in concert and at home. The Kawai GX range, which includes the Kawai GX3, the Kawai GX1 and the Kawai GX2, will allow you to experience the piano in a whole new way. By combining traditional craftsmanship and modern technology, Kawai grand pianos are the key to playing and hearing your music at its very finest quality.
So, what exactly can you expect from the Kawai GX range?
Quality Craftsmanship
The Kawai GX pianos retain the classic design of the grand piano whist also exhibiting new, intricate details that set it apart from other grand pianos on the market. The Kawai GX range also features a slightly improved cabinet design to previous Kawai models, making for a stronger and more dependable piece of equipment. And of course, all of the GX pianos feature Kawai’s notorious painting and finishing process, giving the body of the piano its distinctly luxurious appearance.
Excellent Sound Quality and Range
The design and building process for the Kawai GX series of pianos involves the meticulous analysing of a range of different woods which are tested for their individual quality before they are selected as the most appropriate option for each respective part of the piano.
As the soundboard arguably has the greatest effect on the sound quality of a piano, the woods used for the soundboards of the Kawai GX series have been selected by experienced craftsmen for their ability to achieve rich, deep bass tones and vivid and full treble tones. The Kawai GX pianos also feature premium grand piano hammers, constructed from a wood that provides incredible acoustics.
In order to create a richer and more immersive sound with the Kawai GX grand pianos, their design features a thicker rim than on previous Kawai piano models, giving the piano a fuller and overall more impressive tone.
Exceptional Control
The touch of the pianos in the Kawai GX series is possibly their most impressive and important feature. The Kawai GX pianos feature a lengthened key making them closer in size to those seen on a concert grand piano where the pivot point of the key is further back. This enables the player to achieve a more consistent touch weight when playing towards the back of the keys, allowing for high control and expression whilst playing. This superior playing control that the GX pianos offer is a rare achievement and one that few pianists get to experience.
